sacafan A truly outstanding EP from start to finish. It cleraly draws its energy from the 90s, but great sound of all instruments (including some tasty dark synths) gives it a modern, contemporary feel. Matthias, a talented singer/multi-instrumentalist, is clearly a driving force of this album. However, the songs are very colourful and varied thanks to his inspiring bandmates. Spread music like this as much as you can so that we don't forget what rock is about! Favorite track: Tendencies.

You ask, how could it come to this Well, they all abandoned their genuine needs, traded them for the sparkle of capitalism Surrendered themselves to the promise of eternal fun But in fact it voided everything what once has subsumed so far as human life And that’s why we call it long term nothing You gotta feel what it's like to be a selfish god you gotta know who will make the paranoia call you can insist to the brokers need to make some more but all the damage will be made to you and yours. You ask, and I told you before It’s just that they all gave in for the god of consumption Praised him all day long, from dusk till dawn forgot about everything else and again, in the end it was all about nothing long term nothing

We learned to take it - for granted We’ve been so used - to affluence and peace It looked as if - it’s fixed by law Ignored so well - the facts beyond At whose expense - it’s built upon Times like these - may always be a fake We played so well - the perfect role Everyone wants to be - the smart global guy, So cool, so cute - just one, two clicks from here to there - and off to bliss once again it looks, as if the world’s gone mad once again it looks, as if the world’s gone mad Now, the truth, is catching up, is coming close Now, the truth, is catching up, is coming close (Maybe, we still have the chance To make a prudent choice It’s up to you, what to vote for, who to follow decide on your own, in which kind of world you wanna live in but decide, soon it could be too late)

this is faint, the eldest piece of mine who's gonna save a puzzled mind I see, I see you wanna lay on the palatine I see, I see you have a breakdown with your valentine you see, you see you have to calm this is faint, the eldest piece of mine who's gonna save a puzzled mind you've betrayed the selfish piece of mine who's gonna drown on your side

painfully aware of every possibility, obsessed by every situation ever failed all the colors, every turn and every path a trap, a claim, a test, some pain friendships faint and numb tendencies and crumbs hunted hunters feed paranoia's breed Mr.Doe has played is cards and sold his dignity Mrs.Doe has never really stayed in game. All the kids collected miles for really gettin far away and every day is all the same The eyes held open by thorns, the jaws of a pitbull crack bones out of humanist words. So you're seen with your head on the curb and the angel beside you smokes weed and looks already blurred This is the hive that is the swarm majority's right triggers a storm

about

Arnold, Jochen, Matthias and Peter formed a band called True Anchor Bros. in 1998, changing the name to Lo-KATE during the sessions for their first album. They have collaborated for several other projects like Sergeant Pluck himself and Mr. Green my saviour during the last twenty years, constantly rotating instruments. Besides the bands on this EP, Matthias and Arnold are also Part of the band LAUSCH. It's far too famous to be represented here.
