Manuela ...Overhead is a delightful piece of alternative rock / prog pop,... (you name it) that invites you on a special journey. It convinced me with its haunting, dreamy melodies and a slightly melancholic undertone, and yet always leaves me with the most positive feelings. Favorite track: Overhead.

Michal Urban There's a streetlamp over Matthias's head but THERE'S NO COTTON SONG (a gap filler) on this EP that's for sure!
Every single song is my favorite one.

mrazik Well, it's breathing out a calmness, first of all. Great sound of precisely recorded clever music in combination with soothing voice of Matthias turns Overhead into another little addiction of mine. And... I love the cover of corse. Favorite track: Overhead.

there is a streetlamp over my head there is a snowflake above your nose there is a question inside my head how the hell did you get here where the hell did you come from this is my cover, this is the snow your are the icecube, I am the fog we're going elsewhere, elsewhere is more if summer was heaven, we're in late fall there is a rough road under your feet it is the same way that made me weak there is a pressure inside your chest how the hell did you get here where the hell did you come from
wood and stones behind the windows darkest ride, with wind and snow it feels just like what yesterday told satellites turn off the light so you can see what's outside its the best way gettin old and home search the best and gently ask what snowflakes can explain bring me back to where im leaving from turn off the light so you can see what's outside it's the best way gettin old and home my daddy's car is waiting everytime this peacefull mind is not a greatful sign the engines sound, the wanly bleedin light my daddy's car is waiting all the time
God Natt 02:17

With the release of „Yesterday will not come again“ in 2014 and the following tour, Sergeant Pluck himself definitely had their most exciting times since the beginnning of the project almost 15 years ago. After two years of intensive work, it had become a bit quiet and the band felt a little desire for a short break. But singer and guitarist Matthias Ledwinka (besides his Drumming for Lausch and Freischwimma) soon started working on some older song-ideas and reinterpretated them in studio. The result of this development is the „Overhead EP“.

It includes „Jack Frost Speedbrain“, „Sigmundsherberg“ and "God Natt", three tracks from the early years of Sergeant Pluck, which now get a second chance. Also two previously unreleased tracks and a new song – the single „Overhead“ - can be found in this small package. The EP is definitely a part of the Sergeant Pluck Catalogue, but it sheds light on a few pages, that were not represented on the last album. We hope you like it!
